1. Check service panel for proper sizing & grounding.

2. Check service panel for any signs of rust or corrosion.

3. Check service panel for proper labeling of circuits.

4. Check for proper clearance around service panel

5. Check for proper wiring to sub-panels.

6. Check service entrance cable for proper sizing and ware.

7. Check all breakers for proper sizing & overloading.

8. Check for water pipe bonding.

9. Check all outlets for proper grounding and polarity.

10. Check for GFCI outlets in all wet areas of home, such as the kitchen, bathrooms and outside.

11. Check for broken or worn outlets & switches.

12. Check for proper wattage light bulbs in light fixtures.

13. Check for smoke alarms and if they are inter connected.

14. Check for proper disconnects on A/C & heating units.

15. Check for proper plates on outlets, switches & junction boxes.

16. Check for proper outlets at ranges & dryers.

17. Check for worn or frayed wires.

18. Check for the over use of extension cords.

19. Check for overloaded outlets.

20. Check for missing junction boxes.

21. Check for surge protection.
